After the locust storm destroyed crops in Egypt, the Israeli Ministry of Agriculture made the decision to
spray 7,500 dunam of land. The
Health
Ministry was consulted as well. Most of the locust have been stopped as
of Wednesday insuring minimal damage to crops and to the environment.
