Al Tira Israel A Tribute To The Israeli Forces
אל תירא ישראל

שלום אייזנר סמח"ט בקעת הירדן

in his own words

IDF Lt. Col. Eisner
I explained to the activists that many travelers were using the road because of the holiday and that they are posing a major security risk. All was calm and in control and that is why I didn't bring a water canon and gave them 15 minutes to protest. It was a group of 60 activists and suddenly two buses arrived and the activists all together called to block the road while closing our barrier. One of the Palestinian organizers told me at this stage that she no longer had control over the event. The weapon was the only thing I had in my hands.
The whole thing lasted 60 seconds, we prevented them from getting on the road and they boarded the bus. Obviously, they didn't show the part where they attacked us with sticks in the video. I should not have flung my weapon like that. But those are 60 seconds out of a two-hour event.

National Union MK Michael Ben Ari said:

“Well done to the IDF officer who did what Bibi and Aharonovich have no brain or courage to do,” Ben Ari said. “Radical leftists must be handled with a heavy hand. There was a tangible threat to the lives of the soldiers and the officer had no other choice. If it was a settler who was beaten we would not have heard the cries of the hypocrites on the left. Turns out they are not interested in human rights but the rights of terrorists and pro-Arabs.”
....and I do totally agree.

TODA LT. COL EISNER!!!

Where Does Truth Begin?

at israelisoldiersmother
Does it begin with a video showing a decorated IDF Lt. Colonel beating anarchists in a clip that is quickly making its way around the world? Can you trust an organization who staged this to be the one to report on it as well? Doesn't it matter at all if this was not the first strike, but the second?
When I was little, my sister went to my father and told him that I had hit her. He came and punished me. I explained that she had hit me. He went back to my sister and asked her if that was true. Apparently, she was much more honest than the people in the video, certainly more honest than the Dutch anarchist. She told my father, "yes, but she hit me back."
It changes the picture, does it not? If the anarchist who now claims brutality - was in fact, brutalizing first. No?
So perhaps, the real story began long moments...even perhaps as long as two hours before that tiny, edited clip you'll probably see on YouTube, Facebook and elsewhere? From the video that is being used to condemn him - comes the proof that these so-called humanitarian activists were anything but humanitarian, anything but peace-seeking, civilized demonstrators.
The truth will come out. Lt. Col. Shalom Eisner was attacked FIRST - they BROKE HIS FINGERS. Note the picture below - note his hand. This is a Lt. Colonel in the Israel army - tried and tested. Violence came at him and yes, he answered with violence. The key here is that he ANSWERED.
The truth here is that the "activists" went to one of Israel's major highways and without coordinating the "demonstration" in advance - began blocking the road. The army moved in to clear the path - and were brutally attacked...by the so-called peace-loving ISM.
I will tell you that I believe the video they post is a challenge to each of you - a question they ask - how stupid are you, is their real message? Are you stupid enough to believe their headlines? "Israeli soldiers brutally attack Palestinians and ISM activists on bike ride."
On a bike ride? Seriously?
Yes, they had bicycles - the better to disrupt traffic. Can you, from this brief clip, really condemn a Lt. Colonel doing his job compared to activists that came from abroad - like this Dutch man - fully intending to disrupt, disturb and incite violence? ISM activists have a long, blatantly anti-Israel history. They are pro-Palestinian activists (and that's really too nice a word for them). You can see this in the flags they wave and the Arab headdresses they wave as a challenge and a declaration. Is peace really served by traveling to another country and waving someone else's flag?
The clip they show is brutal and short. If you believe this is the sum total of their encounter, then, my friends, you surrender to the stupid. In fact, the few minutes you see have been carefully edited - hours of confrontation have already taken place. Afterwards, the man is handcuffed and arrested and he's clearly not injured. You cannot say the same of the Israeli soldier, a Lt. Colonel, pictured below.

After so many incidents in which Palestinian propaganda has managed to rearrange the narrative so that the Israeli side appears to be the aggressor, we could expect the IDF brass, as well as Israel’s government, to show restraint, perhaps count to 30, before throwing their own man under the media bus. But, alas, both IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned a senior IDF officer for the way he appears on a selectively edited Palestinian video on You Tube.
A picture, in this case, is worth a whole lot less than a thousand words, because the picture is a video, and a video can be edited so that the aggressor appears like the innocent victim.
Here is what appears to have happened:
A large group of 250 European and Palestinian activists belonging to the International Solidarity Movement (ISM) were on a bicycle trip in the Jordan Valley, a region which has enjoyed relative peace in the relationship between local Arabs and the IDF, even as Judea and Samaria were ignited in violent clashes.
The ISM website states that it is a “Palestinian-led movement committed to resisting the Israeli apartheid in Palestine by using nonviolent, direct-action methods and principles. Founded by a small group of primarily Palestinian and Israeli activists in August, 2001, ISM aims to support and strengthen the Palestinian popular resistance by providing the Palestinian people with two resources, international solidarity and an international voice with which to nonviolently resist an overwhelming military occupation force.”
In other words, this is the equivalent of the Sinn Féin, the political wing of the IRA. While Palestinian terrorists are engaged directly in executing acts of murder against Jews in Israel and abroad, the ISM creates provocation that helps divert media attention from the brutality of Palestinian terrorism.
This very large group of dedicated agents provocateurs rode through one of the villages in the valley, and when they tried to get on highway 90, which runs the length of Judea and Samaria alongside the Jordan River, they encountered Israeli soldiers and border policemen who demanded their return to the village, because the activists had not coordinated their trip with security forces.
It should be noted that, for security reasons, Palestinian traffic on highway 90 is curbed and monitored by several checkpoints. This is part of Israel’s overall effort to prevent unceasing Palestinian attempts to attack Jewish targets both within and outside the “green line.”
It should also be noted that, as the ISM itself states this plainly, it is their mission to open up those road blocks, so that “the Palestinian popular resistance,” e.g. the Islamist Jihad and Al Fatah, be able to renew their attacks on Jewish targets.
Now you understand what the clash at the entrance to highway 90 was all about.
Minute 1:51 of the ISM video clearly shows Lt.-Col. Shalom Eisner's bandaged hand, after his fingers had been broken by an agent provocateur.
Minute 1:51 of the ISM video clearly shows Lt.-Col. Shalom Eisner's bandaged hand, after his fingers had been broken by an agent provocateur.
According to the Deputy Commander of the Valley Brigade, Lt.-Col. Shalom Eisner, the event, in which IDF soldiers were trying to block the passage of 250 cyclists, lasted about two hours, only a few minutes of which are shown in the video.
Once told they could not proceed, Eisner said, “the activists tried to block the Jordan Valley road. We were the last vestige between them and the highway, and the protesters tried to pass us again and again, even though we insisted and explained to them that they are forbidden to break into a military zone.”
At some point during that two-hour event, an ISM agent attacked Eisner, and broke two of his fingers. Take a look at the way the Israeli officer is holding his weapon, and you’ll realize he is actually responding to a dangerous demonstrator, rather than attacking him unprovoked. He was provoked and then some.
“I’ve learned my lesson from the incident and will never again be dragged into provocation,” Eisner told Ma’ariv, “but you must understand the whole situation, in which we were trying for two hours to stop lawbreakers. I simply did my job.”
So far, this is a tale of two opposing groups, each attempting to perform the task it had been assigned by its bosses: the ISM were trying to push through the IDF checkpoint, and the IDF was working very hard, and, considering the event lasted two hours, with considerable self-restraint, to block their advance.
Now comes the part where on the Israeli side the bosses lose their grip and throw their dedicated soldiers under the bus.
Of all the official reactions to the incident, the only sane and responsible one came from the IDF Spokesperson’s office. It’s no wonder – they’re paid to respond professionally and calmly. Their statement said: “This is a grave incident. The Head of Central Command, Maj. Gen. Nitzan Alon, has ordered that a thorough and serious inquiry be conducted. The inquiry will look into the circumstances that preceded the events documented in the video as well as the serious incident that is seen in the film. Lessons will be learned and proper steps will be taken.”
Incidentally, Maj. Gen. Alon has also ordered the suspension of Lt.-Col. Eisner, which also makes sense under the circumstances, assuming that his time would probably be taken up by long conversations with army investigators.
Bravo. No matter what the ISM are claiming, the IDF is going to take its time, collect testimonies, analyze the evidence and issue a reliable, truthful report. As it has done in the past.
What a pity that the man who commands the army which has such a solid, reliable spokesperson, couldn’t do what is recommended in such cases: shut up and let the pros do the talking.
IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz declared: “The incident does not reflect IDF principles and will be thoroughly investigated.”
It is difficult to imagine a more convoluted statement, which, essentially, condemns Lt.-Col. Eisner, whose behavior, according to Ganz, was beyond the pale of IDF principles. If Eisner is already guilty, what, exactly, is the purpose of the promised thorough investigation? To determine just how horribly guilty he is?
The IDF, like most armies, has clear rules of engagement, and clear procedures by which investigators determine whether or not those rules had been followed. It’s not a moral issue, it’s a question of whether or not the soldier in question was following the rules of engagement to the best of his ability. If it is shown that he did, then his behavior did absolutely reflect IDF principles.
But Gantz’s boss, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, came across even worse, when he declared: “Such behavior does not characterize IDF soldiers and officers and has no place in the Israel Defense Forces and in the State of Israel.”
Based on a selectively edited You Tube video posted by the sworn enemies of Israel.
At this point, largely because of the moronic reaction of the two men in charge of Israel’s security concerns, it makes no difference whether or not Lt.-Col. Shalom Eisner is exonerated by the investigation. The world will move on to fresher, more exciting videos. But the next Durban conference will certainly have two new ingredients to add to its appetizing Jew hatred compote: the self-condemning Zionist PM and Zionist COS.

Support Brigade Deputy Commander!!

Support Lt.Col Shlomo Eisner!!
A number of Knesset members and others voiced support, Sunday evening, for deputy commander Shlomo Eisner of the Biq'a Brigade, in the wake of the Israel Defense Forces' investigation into a left-wing video showing his response to the refusal by anarchists to clear Highway 90, near Israel's eastern border, on Shabbat. Member of Knesset Michael Ben-Ari cited Eisner for doing what he said Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Public Safety Minister Yitzchak Aharonovitch did not have the common sense or courage to do, explaining that there was a real danger to Eisner's troops and adding that if a Jewish resident of Judea or Samaria had been on the receiving end of Eisner's blows, there would have been no reaction.
Knesset member Zevulun Orlev said it was sad to see an officer attacked for doing his job against people whose sole purpose was to discredit the state and the military, and attacked Eisner's critics for rushing to judgement. Chairman Danny Dayan of the Yesha Council of Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria recommended that politicians who were fired up by the left not to get involved in military matters, adding, "Their appetite to crucify a senior officer who confronts a group of Israel haters is not clear to me."

and a "death penalty"...

The Death Penalty. Yes death. For selling a house to a Jew...
Yet these atrocities are of little concern to the flytilla activists who are bent on Israel's destruction.

arab attack nearby Itamar

souce Arutz Sheva

Two Jewish shepherds from the Shomron community of Itamar were injured on the adjacent Arnon Hill (777) on Thursday by a gang of local Arabs wielding clubs and rocks.
IDF forces were called to the scene and succeeded in dispersing the Arabs, who were still throwing stones at the shepherds when the soldiers arrived.
The scalp of one Jewish shepherd was torn open, while the other sustained injuries to his hands and lower body. Both received medical treatment at the scene.
Samaria Council head Gershon Mesika said that the incident was a serious one.
“It could have ended in a 'lynch' murder by Arabs of the two Jewish farmers. This is the second such incident in this area. Both incidents had the same characteristics, and the perpetrators both came from the same village.”
A similar attack occurred last week near Itamar when Arabs from Aqraba, a village south of Shechem, and radical left-wing activists from the "Combatants for Peace" organization accosted local Jews.

Forty-nine days that can change your world: the forty-nine days between Passover and Shavuot are days laden with awesome spiritual potential. The opportunity for growth is ours for the taking.

We must count our days and make our days count!

end of Pesach 5772

5772
We’ve just completed the festival of Pesach for the year 5772. It is the festival of our freedom from Egypt which we commemorate every year. I pray that this year of 5772, we witness the ultimate freedom. The end to our overdue exile. This year there should be no fasting on Tisha B’Av. In preparation for moshiach, I’d like to announce the following steps that I believe Israel should take to secure our borders and exercise our right to live freely as Jews in our own homeland.
  1. Scrap the Oslo Accords.
  2. Evict the PA.
  3. Annex Judea and Samaria.
  4. Take over administration of the Temple Mount.
  5. Never EVER compromise on Jerusalem.
  6. Close down all refugee ‘camps’ run by UNRWA.
  7. Elect a Prime Minister who is knowledgable in our legal rights to all of Israel as well as Judaism and Zionism in general.
  8. Prosecute all current and past government leaders who have tried to undermine our sovereignty over the land.
  9. Refrain from using terms that foster non-existent Arab ‘rights’ to Israel (such as “West Bank”, “occupied territory”, “Palestinian land”, etc).
  10. Update the Law of Return specifically allowing and advocating for settlement anywhere in the Jewish National Home.
  11. Remind the Principle Allied Powers of their obligation to uphold their commitments to assist Israel in accordance with their prior agreements.
  12. Officially define the State of Israel as the State of the Jewish People.
  13. Create an official publication of the legal rights of the State of Israel to all areas of the historical and geographical areas that were illegally excluded from the mandate or removed due to acts of partition.
If these steps are taken, we will overcome countless lies and fantasies and finally restore Eretz Yisrael to Am Yisrael. Moshiach is almost here. Let’s make sure 5772 doesn’t pass without the ultimate redemption.

SHABBATH SHALOM and good YOM TOV

And in that day you will say: I offer thanks to You, O G-d, that You were wrathful with me; Your anger is turned away, and You do comfort me.
Behold, G-d is my salvation, I will trust, and not be afraid ; for G-d is my strength and my song, He also is become my salvation.
With joy shall you draw water out of the wells of salvation.
And in that day shall you say: Praise G-d, call upon His name, declare His doings among the people, make mention that His name is exalted.
Sing to G-d, for He has done great things; this is known in all the earth.
Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.

ACHARON SHEL PESACH

Moshiach's Meal
The last day of Passover ("Acharon Shel Pesach") is particularly associated with Moshiach and the future redemption. The Haftarah  for this day is from Isaiah 11, which describes the promised future era of universal peace and divine perfection. Rav Israel Baal Shem Tov instituted the custom of partaking of a "Moshiach's meal" on the afternoon of the last day of Passover; in addition to the matzah eaten at "Moshiach's meal", the Rebbes of Chabad added the custom of drinking four cups of wine, as in the seder held on Passover's first days.

Aliyah: The body and soul of Israel

Muslim Moshè....

Moshè was a Muslim who led Palestinian muslims out of Egypt. No  joke...

from David Ha'Ivri

A few years ago, while visiting the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, I had a very disturbing conversation with a member of the Islamic Wakf who was escorting me to make sure that I didn’t pray on the holy mountain. I asked him if he could tell me when the Al Aqsa mosque was built. He looked at me with a straight face and responded that it was always there. I hadn’t expected that, and of course was surprised and asked him again. I thought that maybe he didn’t understand my question and meant that the mountain was always there. So I asked again, and made it clear that I meant the mosque that is located on the southern extension of the Temple Mount that was built by Herod. (Historically, the entire platform that the Al Aqsa mosque is built on didn’t even exist during the time of the first Temple.)
It turned out that this “learned” member of the Islamic clergy, whose job is to work on the Temple Mount, actually believed that the structure of the Al Aqsa mosque was just there – from the beginning of time.
This conversation was a great help to me in understanding the Muslim Arab mindset and culture. Facts are not really so important to them. They can be made up or even changed as needed.
You don’t need to take my word for it. Go to youtube and search for this: “Moses was a Muslim who led Palestinian Muslims out of Egypt.” You will see that Islamic clergy are teaching this concept without blinking an eye. They are totally convinced that all of the Israelite heroes of the Bible were actually Muslims. This is the new replacement theology. The idea is not only Holocaust denial like what is heard from the leaders of the Islamic regime in Iran. They now deny (or co-opt) all the foundational points of Jewish history.
