Delight lies at the core of heart and mind. At the core of all that is.
Deep within a father’s soul even the father whose face is stone, whose heart is ice yet, without doubt, deep within lies the spark of the child he has born, his innermost delight.
Within the child lies that spark as well. Perhaps even more dormant, still without even a flicker yet softly it burns.
One spark awakens. The other resonates, bursting into flames.
The Master of All sits in judgment over His world. He awaits the moment His children will call Him “Father.”
The spark below awakens the spark above, the innermost delight, and life is renewed.
(From the wisdom of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, of righteous memory; words and condensation by Rabbi Tzvi Freeman. )
